Yes! Televisits are visits during which you are seen via videocalling/videochatting.
Most follow-up visits (such as medication or lab reviews) can be done through a televisit.
We cannot perform well child or annual physicals over televisit. We also do not recommend televisits for sick children (like those with a possible ear infection, fever, or sore throat), as these children should receive an in-person exam.
In order to schedule a televisit, you must have a cell phone with video capabilities. We use Doximity for our televisits, so you do not need to download any special software or apps. You will receive a phone call and a text message with a link to start your televisit on the day of your appointment.
